While gender integration, or coeducation, might not appear to be an innovation at SQU, it is new for the foundation students, many of whom arrive from gender separated schools. Drawing on her doctoral thesis investigating coeducation, the presenter will compare and contrast her latest research into mixed gender classes and the effects on student motivation. This presentation is aimed at ELT professionals interested in research as well as those working in or anticipating coeducational classes.
