Investigating Self-representation in EFL Students’ Written Discourse (PP141), Paper
This presentation reports on an ongoing study which focuses on self-representation in students’ academic writing. It explores how Omani EFL students at a higher education institution use their voice in their EFL academic writing; it investigates the main challenges they face in revealing their voice in academic writing, and finds out how such challenges can be overcome.
