Learner Autonomy – towards a new collaborative approach (PP191), Paper
The presentation will propose a combined approach for learner autonomy which involves both EFL teachers and learners to develop autonomous language learning at tertiary level in Oman. The proposed approach is based on findings derived from a small scale mixed methods study. The presenter will offer implications and insights that could further develop the autonomous learning model by taking it a step forward beyond the classical model repeatedly reported in literature of applied linguistics.
