Fostering independent learning amongst language learners through digital tool use (PP24), Paper

The study explores both the use of digital tools by university students and the effectiveness of students informing each other of the usefulness of self-selected digital tools for English language learning. The preliminary findings include a comparison of quantitative data from control and treatment groups pre- and post-treatment, as well as analysis of qualitative data from focus group interviews. These results may improve language instructors’ understanding of appropriate ways to use digital tools.
