An inquiry into teachers’ beliefs: Some methodological problems and solutions (PP49), Paper
The presenter will share preliminary results of her ongoing investigation into EFL teacher technology beliefs. The nature of teacher beliefs and methodological problems of belief exploration will be examined. The presenter will propose an alternative perspective on belief elicitation rooted in Personal Construct Psychology. The Repertory Grid technique will be described. Participants will be invited to take part in the demonstration activity to briefly expose them to the suggested technique.
