Paperless classroom is a revolutionary concept advocated by numerous educational experts today. It can be considered as a natural outcome of the digitalization of education and educational resources necessitated by the rapid technological development of our times. This paper attempts to analyze critically the concept of paperless classroom in the context EFL/ESL learners in the tertiary sector in Oman with particular reference to the undergraduate programmes at Dhofar University, Salalah.
