Grammar-integrated vocabulary tasks to meet the learners’ need for accuracy (PP108), Paper

Knowledge of words can develop knowledge of principles of grammar, which is deeper than learning grammatical rules. Treating grammatical accuracy is a basic need for all undergraduate students of English. This is a case study of pursuing accuracy through words instead of grammatical rules. Tasks are effectively designed, administered and evaluated to utilize the learners’ tacit semantic knowledge of words to develop and consolidate their lexico-grammatical competence needed for accuracy in speaking and writing.
