This presentation explores the incorporation of ELT with technology, specifically in the area of social networking. It investigates the benefits and challenges of using social networks in the language classroom and beyond it. The attendees are expected to benefit by being exposed to the theoretical underpinnings of using social networking in language teaching and learning. They will be actively engaged in discussions revolving around how social networking tools can be effective in the classroom.
